Picture this: Juma

Runways and retail have been churning out photography spattered pieces (read: Rag & Bone and my favourite Aussie swimwear line We Are Handsome). I’ve recently penned a piece for New York-based fashion and art web magazine Line a Journal on Juma. The designers were inspired by their childhood in Kenya and the time they spent in Lake Nakuru (see: fluorescent pink flamingos that migrate there), the Maasai Mara National Reserve with its breathtaking orange sunsets and the coastal city of Mombasa and its stunning Indian Ocean backdrop.
