Lime Crime

Doe Deere is a beauty entrepreneur, the name and face behind Lime Crime — a beauty brand that has been getting a lot of attention!

Deere has got a knack for maquiller, there’s no doubt she knows how to work it in front of the camera (see her alluring beauty shots and glam in-person appearances). Despite rave editorial reviews (see: VOGUE.COM, Nylon, Marie Claire, ELLE UK) she’s also gotten some e-flack on message boards and even had to post a response to naysayers on her blog. What gives?

Frankly, I was absolutely delighted when I received three lipstick colours from Lime Crime this week: New Yolk City (a bright yellow) , Mint to Be (a spearmint green) and Coquette (an opaque pinky nude). With all of these dreamy colours and fairytale-themed products (read: unicorns) I personally think she’s the makeup equivalent to Dita von Teese.

So with that, may I please introduce you dear readers (if you haven’t already gotten hooked) to Lime Crime, burlesque style!
